𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: PLC Automation Engineer
𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: 4-6 year’s
budget between :- 5 LPA
Responsibilities:
• Design, program, and commission PLC-based automation systems using Mitsubishi, Delta, and Siemens PLCs and HMIs.
• Develop and optimize pick and place automation systems, ensuring high efficiency
and reliability.
• Interface analog I/O modules with PLC communication modules (e.g., Modbus,
Profinet, Ethernet IP) to facilitate data exchange and control.
• Develop and implement scripts on HMI platforms (e.g., GT Designer, Siemens
WinCC, Delta DOPSoft) to enhance functionality and user interaction.
• Utilize AUTOCAD for development and preparation of BOM, control panel wiring
layout, and control panel logic diagrams.
• Experience in motion control systems including servo, stepper motors, and AC/DC
drives.
• Lead and manage projects from inception through installation and commissioning,
ensuring adherence to timelines and resource requirements.
• Conduct onsite testing, validation, installation, and commissioning of automated
systems at client sites.
• Troubleshoot and debug existing PLC/HMI/PC-based test benches, providing timely resolutions.
• Provide technical support and training to customers for implemented code and
hardware, both onsite and offsite.
• Maintain software code, documentation, and test automated software for product
testing.
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as Modbus, Profinet/Profibus, CClink, EthernetIP.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers,
mechanical engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Provide regular updates on project progress to management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.
Master’s degree preferred.
• 4-6 years of hands-on experience in PLC programming and automation, with
expertise in Mitsubishi, Delta, and Siemens PLCs and HMIs.
• Proven experience in Testing and Measurement, Motion Control, Assembly Line
automation, and SPMs.
• Proficient in PLC ladder logic programming (e.g., GX Works, Simatic Step 7 TIA
Portal, WPLSoft/ISPsoft).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
effectively.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet
deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey
complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Experience in designing and commissioning complex automation systems from
concept to completion.
• Knowledge of sensor instrumentation and mechatronics is an added advantage.
