• **Role Overview:*** We are looking for a Principal Design Engineer with deep expertise in hydraulics.
systems and heavy engineering products to provide technical leadership across the entire product lifecycle. This role demands strong hands-on design capability combined with system-level ownership, advanced analysis, and decision-making authority for critical design and material selections.
The candidate will act as a technical authority, guiding design standards, validating complex designs,
and ensuring reliability, safety, and manufacturability of hydraulic tools and equipment used in demanding service environments.
• **Key Responsibilities:***
• Act as design authority for hydraulic tools, cylinders, power packs, and heavy assemblies.
• Lead end-to-end mechanical & hydraulic design from concept to production.
• Create accurate 3D models and manufacturing drawings with GD&T (SolidWorks).
• Perform analysis (structural, fatigue, thermal) and lead DFMEA activities.
• Apply DFM/DFA principles and support prototyping and validation.
• Guide and mentor engineering teams and review critical designs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
• **Required Skills:***
• Expert in **SolidWorks** and manufacturing drawings (GD&T).
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and **simulation/analysis tools.**
• Good understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.
• **Qualification & Experience:***
• B.Tech / MTech in Mechanical Engineering (Masters preferred).
• 8 to 12+ years of relevant industry experience.
