• *Job Title: IT Infrastructure & Desktop Engineer** • *Location: Mumbai** • *Level-6+ Years of experience.** • *Shifts-12-9 PM (Need to be flexible)** • *Role Overview** We are hiring an experienced IT professional to manage end-user systems and core IT infrastructure. The role involves handling desktops, servers, networks, and cloud environments while ensuring system performance, security, and reliability. • *Key Responsibilities** Manage desktops, laptops, and user support (L2/L3 issues) Act as the primary point of contact for clients on IT issues and escalation Prepare reports, documentation, and client updates Participate in client meetings, reviews, and audits Administer Windows OS, Active Directory, and Group Policies Handle software deployment, patching, and endpoint security Manage servers (Windows/Linux) and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) Monitor system performance and ensure high availability Configure and troubleshoot network components (DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls) Support cloud platforms like Azure or AWS Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions Automate tasks using PowerShell or scripting Ensure IT security, updates, and compliance Act as escalation point and support junior team members. Basic knowledge of • Setting up of VPN • Setting up of FTP • Networking • Configuring Firewalls • Ability to do port blocking on the firewall • Managing wireless networks especially Fortinet • *Required Skills** • *Excellent Verbal and written communication skills.** Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Windows Server Experience with Active Directory & endpoint management (SCCM/Intune) Good understanding of networking fundamentals Hands-on experience with virtualization and cloud platforms Scripting knowledge (PowerShell/Bash) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • *Preferred Certifications** Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator (AZ-104) Microsoft 365 / Modern Desktop Administrator AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate VMware Certified Professional (VCP) Cisco CCNA / CompTIA Security+ (optional)
